Nick the Entertainer

From Sinatra’s “Fly me to the Moon” to Elvis Presley’s “Hound Dog” with a bit of Magician David Copperfield thrown in, Nick the Entertainer has something for everyone in the audience.

Nick moved from Ontario to BC in 1987 where he continued with his theatre work as he managed and directed several productions in Victoria such as "The best little Whorehouse in Texas" and "The Sound of Music".

He also wrote a highly successfull musical for the Victoria fringe festival called "Kama Sutra the Musical"

He has been doing stand up comedy for over 15 years and he loves it. He also performs all over the island with an act consisting of Music,Magic and Comedy.

Nick has "two wonderful daughters and 5 of the best grand children".

David Oliver Francis

Daniel Oliver Francis is a singer, songwriter from Victoria BC.
He has performed regularly local Victoria coffee houses and at Goldstream, James Bay, and Metchosin Markets for the past three years. 
We are thrilled to have David joining us at the market for his spring/summer Market Tour!

Ray Spencer

Ray is a local singer songwriter who performs solo gigs at markets and coffee houses on southern Vancouver Island.  He is relishing the opportunity to become part of the vibrant music scene here, playing a mix of covers and original songs in the folk / roots genre.  He recently completed a recording project and the  CD Two Way Traffic One Lane Road is due to be released in the next few weeks.  CDs will be available at the markets ... have a listen at https://www.reverbnation.com/randomspacecollaboration   Ray is also one third of the Victoria trio  Clancy's Front Porch with Heather Read and Tracy Summers.  Clancy's Front Porch was a featured performer at the Sooke Folk Music Coffee House in January and may join Ray for a Saturday market this season.

Robbie Hancock

Robbie Hancock is an indie folk, singer/songwriter and a composer/producer and an international touring artist.

Recent songwriting/composing credits include music placed on NBC (The Golf Channel), HBO (VICE), The Discovery Channel (Canada's Worst Driver), MTV((Are you the one?)(Catfish), Bravo (Married to Medicine), BTN ((The Journey, Big Ten Football), The National Film Board of Canada (Plutocrats), HGTV (Income Property), RBB (Gartenzet Germany), DIY Network (Slate Roof From Scratch) and a song in a "making of" documentary for a commercial in Peru (Claro 2015). and another in a Canadian indie film called “Forget” directed by Jesse James Burton.

Robbie has been performing live for over 20 years and has played at Disney World, Bush Gardens, CMW, NXNE, The Ottawa Tulip festival, The Hamilton Music Awards, The Halifax Pop Explosion, 4 Canadian tours and recently in Nashville and Los Angeles at live music venues and conferences.  He is also regular performer in the artist on board program for VIA Vail Canada performing on board for passengers each year from coast to coast.
 
Robbie also runs fundraiser events for homeless teens and has brought awareness and raised funds through local music communities every year since 2009.

He is also passionate about paying it forward as much as possible to up and coming songwriters and artists through mentoring, workshops and events.

Robbie says: "Music is an incredible gift that I am thankful to be able to share with others in hopes that it brings joy to their lives, as much as it has my own."
